Workshop Description
The Transpersonal Nature of Therapeutic Touch workshop, which is part of the updated/enhanced curriculum, is the second in a series of two workshops designed to teach students Therapeutic Touch as developed by Dolores Krieger, PhD, RN, and Dora Kunz.
Building upon the knowledge, skills, and insights gained in Foundations of Therapeutic Touch, this workshop offers students a fascinating opportunity to go much deeper - exploring aspects of consciousness, connections between the practitioner and the Healing Partner, the inner self, and other subjects designed to broaden and strengthen one's understanding and practice of Therapeutic Touch
Students will explore a range of topics including compassion and Therapeutic Touch, the use of sound and colour imagery, Distant Therapeutic Touch, two-person Therapeutic Touch, and the Hand-Heart Connection© technique.

Approach
This two-day workshop incorporates a variety of teaching methods including presentations, self-reflection, and dialogue - providing students the opportunity to discover and expand upon new learnings together.
Hands-on exercises and opportunities to practice giving Therapeutic Touch sessions feature prominently as well, allowing students to explore and apply what they have learned in a fun and supportive environment.
Class sizes are limited to allow for more personalized instruction
